Crypto.com Arena has undoubtedly developed an unrivaled reputation for excellence having established itself as one of the world’s busiest and most successful venues in the world. Beginning twenty-three years ago with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s opening night concert on October 17, 1999, more than 84 million guests have come to the AEG-owned and operated Crypto.com Arena to attend a schedule of prestigious concerts, sporting events, award shows, family shows and other major attractions unmatched by any arena.

 

As the home of four professional sports franchises, the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers, the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings, and the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks, Crypto.com Arena has proven to be a home court advantage for the local teams with the Lakers capturing six NBA Championships and the Kings winning two Stanley Cup titles since 1999, while the Sparks captured back-to-back WNBA Championships in their first two Crypto.com Arena campaigns and brought home their third WNBA Championship in 2016. 

 

Crypto.com Arena continues to distinguish itself as the host of major, high-profile events of national and international distinction including the 2004, 2011 & 2018 NBA All-Star Weekends, the 2002 & 2017 NHL All-Star Games and 2010 NHL Draft, 2002 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, the 2000 Democratic National Convention, 2009 ISU World Figure Skating Championships, 20 GRAMMY Award shows, 11 X Games competitions, 4 WTA Tour Championships, 12 Pac 12 Men’s Basketball Championship tournaments,  2013 & 2018 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship West Regional, the Michael Jackson Public Memorial Service on July 7, 2009, Nipsey Hussle’s Celebration of Life on April 11, 2019 and Celebration of Life for Kobe and Gianna Bryant on February 24, 2020. Due to COVID-19 restrictions for the first-time event in the arena’s 22-year history was able to host an official LA County Vote Center October 24 - November 3, 2020.

Crypto.com Arena and L.A. LIVE serve as the hub for community engagement and support employee volunteerism activities such as a company-wide Day of Service when, through a partnership with City Year, employees volunteer to refurbish local public schools by providing supplies, painting, cleaning and gardening services. During the month of December, L.A. LIVE is home of AEG’s Season of Giving when the foundation spotlights more than two dozen local charities and community-based organizations and provides non-profits a platform to collect food, hold blood drives, register volunteers, educate the public and sign up mentors.

 

Crypto.com Arena has been designed with the fans of Los Angeles in mind. Guests who attend events are treated to the finest entertainment experiences imaginable.  The arena has free public Wi-Fi, over 840 Toshiba flat panel televisions and (as part of a specially designed $1.5 million facility-wide sound system) 675 separate speakers outside of the seating area, so fans never miss any of the sights or sounds of a Crypto.com Arena event. Also featured is a $2 million specialty lighting package and other state-of-the-art amenities. In 2010, Crypto.com Arena unveiled its new $10 million center-hung video LIVE 4HD Scoreboard specially designed for the arena.

 

Along Crypto.com Arena’s five concourses are 23 refreshment stands offering a variety of dining choices including the Fry Line on City View Terrace, a one-of-a-kind outdoor dining experience with a spectacular view of L.A. LIVE and the downtown Los Angeles skyline. The TEAM LA store located on the main concourse is a retail store featuring official merchandise from the teams and events that call Crypto.com Arena home with satellite locations throughout the facility and L.A. LIVE.  Finally, the arena provides 55 public restrooms including three family restrooms.
