WHAT: The Coastal Catholic Classic is the first-of-its-kind, six-game Catholic high school basketball showcase, which will take place on January 6, 2024, at Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles. Twelve standout teams will compete in this unique all-day fan event. The event will be open to the public, with a special ticket offer for students with partial proceeds going back to all participating schools.

WHO: The Coastal Catholic Classic consists of 10 boys’ teams and two girls’ teams. Four out of the nine boys’ basketball programs finished the 2022-23 season with a top-25 ranking in the state of California by The Los Angeles Times, including state champions and event co-host Sherman Oaks Notre Dame. The Knights finished the season ranked No. 3 in the state, while St. John Bosco finished at No. 4, Mater Dei finished at No. 7 and St. Bernard at No. 10.
