The AX Masquerade is the longest running event in Anime Expo history, and the competition has never been fiercer! Cheer, shout, and celebrate your favorites as they compete for thousands of dollars in cash prizes and the coveted Best in Show title. All hosted on the Anime Expo Main Events stage at Crypto.com Arena, home to some of the most prestigious award shows.

For over 25 years, selected cosplayers have pushed the limits of creativity to rally the crowd and impress our incredible panel of judges. From jaw-dropping craftsmanship to show-stopping performances, you will see some of the brightest stars Anime Expo has to offer.

Ticketing Policies

You must have both an Anime Expo attendee credential valid for the day of the event (Saturday or any 4-day) and a general admission ticket to see this event. If you need to purchase a credential, please go to AX Registration now.
Check-in begins 1 hour before the start of the event and will end promptly at 9:30 pm, 1 hour after doors close. There will be priority entry for attendees with an ADA sticker so please arrive 15 mins prior to start of check-in to avoid the crowd.
If you want to upgrade your ticket to a seat closer to the stage, please email: events@anime-expo.org.

Box Office

Tickets for Crypto.com Arena sports and entertainment events are available at the Crypto.com Arena Box Office located at 1111 S. Figueroa Street every Tuesday from 12pm-4pm for walk up sales. All tickets purchased at the box office will be delivered via mobile delivery, no printed paper tickets will be distributed at the windows.

Bag Policy

Bags, backpacks, purses, totes, clear bags, fanny packs, and camera bags are not allowed. Small clutches and wallets smaller than 5” x 9” x 1” are permitted and are subject to security inspection. Medical and parental bags smaller than 14” x 14” x 6” are required to go through an X-Ray machine security screening. Guests arriving with larger bags can rent a Binbox Locker, located adjacent to the Kobe Bryant Entrance next to the LA Kings Monument, using the Binbox app and built-in payment platform.
Parking

The exciting events hosted at Crypto.com Arena often attract large crowds. It is recommended that you plan your trip before you leave home and allow extra time for unanticipated delays due to traffic congestion, road construction, etc. Always follow traffic safety precautions when traveling to and from events.
